Your local Sandy Bay caravan mechanic
Caravan servicing built for Sandy Bay.
Sandy Bay sits right on the Derwent, with quiet streets, steep driveways and plenty of caravans waiting for the next trip down the Channel or up the East Coast. Sandy Bay residents have always been some of our most regular customers.
We service vans across Sandy Bay, Lower Sandy Bay, Dynnyrne and the UTAS / Wrest Point area — at your home, in shared parking bays or at nearby storage yards. No towing through narrow streets, no workshop wait lists.
Living near the water means salt air, southerly squalls and damp winters. Annual servicing plus a yearly seal and leak check keeps Sandy Bay vans in great condition for the long haul.

Sandy Bay FAQs
Caravan servicing in Sandy Bay — your questions
Do you service caravans in Sandy Bay?+
Yes. Sandy Bay is one of our regular service areas. We come to your driveway anywhere from Lower Sandy Bay up to Dynnyrne and the UTAS area — no need to tow your van anywhere.
Can you work in steep or narrow driveways?+
Yes, we're set up for it. Sandy Bay driveways are notoriously tight and steep, but we work in conditions like this every week. If access is genuinely impossible we'll suggest a nearby storage yard alternative.
How quickly can you get to Sandy Bay?+
Sandy Bay is minutes from our base. Same-day callouts are common and we can usually book you in the same week. Call Rhys on 0480 879 460 for current availability.
What issues do you see most in Sandy Bay?+
Salt-air corrosion on brake hardware and roof fittings, plus degraded seals from damp winters. Vans stored unused near the water also tend to develop bearing issues from condensation.
Do you do pre-purchase inspections in Sandy Bay?+
Yes. We come to the seller's address anywhere in Sandy Bay or Greater Hobart and provide a full written condition report before you commit.
Do you service vans at Sandy Bay storage facilities?+
Yes. We're happy to meet you at any storage facility in Sandy Bay or the surrounding suburbs to carry out servicing or repairs.
